General Guidelines

These apply to all JavaScript and TypeScript code.

Line length

• 79 characters per line maximum (except URLs in comments)

Indentation

• Always indent 4 spaces (NO tabs!)
• No indentation within module-level IIFE (function() { … })()) statements.

Braces

• Braces go at the end of the if, for, etc. statement, not on the following line.
• else and else if start on the same line as the }.
• Braces are never optional.
